Having the ability to lead a team, resolve conflicts, and communicate in a team are all valuable skills for anyone working in the modern workplace. However, having these skills alone does not automatically ensure team success. Every team is different and as such, every team has a different set of dynamics. This week we will learn about team dynamics and how to use the skills learned in previous weeks to different types of team dynamics.
What elements help define team dynamics? How do the dynamics of a team contribute to the team’s overall effectiveness and productivity? Consider a situation in which you encountered negative team dynamics. How did the dynamics affect the team overall? How could you apply what you have learned in this class to improve the effectiveness of that team?
