You have already begun gathering research content for your final Case Study paper so in this assignment you will submit a proposal for your case study. In our case, your proposal will be a formal request to conduct the specific case study you have chosen. It must be persuasive (convincing) and make a solid argument for your study. In other words, you’ll indicate exactly what you want to study, how you plan on organizing the research, why it is important, and how it meets the course objectives. The course objectives you’ll be meeting are: Accurately and effectively communicating ideas, information, arguments, and messages to present material in a historical context. Investigating and evaluating historical information from global, social and ethical perspectives to guide decision making. Applying historical precedent to contemporary roles, responsibilities, and relationships to advance the goals of a community or organization. Your proposal will be a six-slide power point presentation with no less than 2 paragraphs of notes for each page. In other words, just the slides alone will not be enough; you must provide a complete explanation for each slide in the notes section. If you need help with power point, get back to me or reach out to the Writing Center. As an example; if I wanted to do a case study on women my proposal might include a slide of a woman from Ancient Rome with a few bullet points. In the notes I would include two paragraphs about how technology or knowledge influenced women in general and why that was important to society. I would not have to give too many specifics about how women changed but rather provide a general explanation that the changes were important and influenced social development. You can leave the specific details for the final paper. You must support your work with citations. Remember, we are citing our work in Chicago Turabian format. THE ATTACHMENT BELOW WOULD HELP YOU WITH IDEAS.
