Each student of history brings to the table their own interpretation of the materials with which they are presented. However, my choosing of what materials to present, and the necessarily cursory level with which we approach the history of the United States, means that some things will be left out. Your assignment is to find a topic that interests you and write a two page (at least) essay about the topic. You must explain why it is relevant to the history of the United States of America.
